MANILA – Meralco Bolts spoiled Harvey Carey's jersey retirement night after ripping TNT Tropang Giga, 108-90, in their PBA on Tour battle on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The Bolts pulled away in the fourth quarter after dropping 34 points on the Tropang Giga to pull away for good.
Allein Maliksi fired 28 points on 10-for-15 shooting including 5-of-8 from long range off the bench for Meralco.
Bong Quinto added 19 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal, while Cliff Hodge and Toto Jose each got double-doubles with 10 points each and 13 and 12 rebounds, respectively.
Glenn Khobuntin fired 28 points for TNT, which remains winless in preseason play. (PNA)
