Single-game tickets for FIBA WC now available

MANILA – The selling of single-game tickets for the FIBA World Cup is underway.

According to the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), fans can avail of tickets for one FIBA WC game for as low as PHP499.

Meanwhile, tickets for the sections closest to the live action are priced from PHP11,099 to PHP27,299, depending on the teams involved.

 Tickets for the games that will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City are now available online through TicketNet.

 These tickets include the opening night doubleheader on Aug. 25 that will happen at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue.

 Italy takes on Angola in the first game at 4 p.m., while Gilas Pilipinas begins its home stand against the Dominican Republic at 8 p.m.

 The SBP looks to break the single-game attendance record in the FIBA World Cup by filling up the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena.

 Meanwhile, tickets for the matches at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay are available through SM Tickets.

 The United States headlines the national teams that will play there.

 Single-game tickets for all games are sold separately from each other, that is, single-game ticket holders for the first game are requested to leave the arena immediately after the game to give way to the second-game ticket holders. (PNA)
