Operations at the Laoag International Airport were temporarily halted due to the weather situation. CAAP said the airport will reopen in the afternoon, but no update was provided as of 4:05 p.m.
The airport's ceiling and doors were partially damaged and required repairs, CAAP said.
Also, flooding was reported at Lingayen Airport's ramp due to heavy rains, according to CAAP. Strong winds also caused damage to the roof of the airport's fire station.
Tuguegarao Airport also halted flight operations as commercial electricity has been down. Minor flooding at the airport's taxiway was reported but no major damage was observed.
Relatively, minimal damage was reported in Vigan Airport's facilities.
Meanwhile, no damage was reported at the airports in Loakan in Baguio, Rosales in Pangasinan, San Fernando in La Union, and Iba in Zambales.
Airports in Basco, Batanes and Cauayan City and Palanan, both in Isabela, also reported no damage to facilities. No power outage was reported as well.
CAAP, meanwhile, urges passengers to prioritize their safety and cooperate with airport and airline authorities. They are also advised to contact their respective airlines for any changes to their flight schedules or further information.
On Wednesday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) only reported two flights -- Cebgo's DG 6113 and 6114 between Manila and Naga -- that were cancelled due to inclement weather.
