MANILA – Student-athletes and delegates in this year's Palarong Pambansa get free rides at the LRT-2 from July 31 until Aug. 5.
Apart from the athletes, coaches and trainers, national and local committee members, volunteers, technical workers, officials, medical staff and accredited media also get free rides.
In an advisory, the Light Rail Transit Authority said eligible individuals can avail of the free ride just by showing their Palarong Pambansa identification card.
Palaro resumes this year after a three-year halt due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
Student-athletes and officials from 17 regions are taking part in the sporting event, which runs from July 29 to Aug. 5 and is hosted by Marikina City.
Palarong Pambansa is the country’s largest youth sporting event participated in by elementary and high school student-athletes. (PNA)
