MANILA – The Duty Free Philippines Corporation (DFPC) is holding a two-day sale for Balikbayans and all arriving international travelers this week, promising up to 20 percent discounts in two of its stores in Metro Manila.

The weekend sale will cover a variety of items at the Duty Free Fiestamall in Parañaque and the Luxe Duty Free in SM Mall of Asia in Pasay from Aug. 19 to 20, it announced.

"We're excited to present the 'Best Dive Deals' sale, where our loyal shoppers can shop for their favorite brands while enjoying huge savings," DFPC Chief Operating Officer Vicente Pelagio Angala said.

The DFPC invited tourists and returning overseas Filipinos to drop by the two off-airport stores and check out its extensive selection of products from fashion-- including Lacoste and Keleo fine pieces of jewelry, perfumery and cosmetics, to liquor and confectioneries.

The Fiestamall, its biggest outlet, is more popular with the Balikbayan and overseas Filipino workers for its wide variety of pasalubong merchandise.

The newer Luxe Duty Free, only inaugurated in 2018, on the other hand, offers a mix of high-end retail brands and export-quality local products to tourists. (PNA)
