CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH CLCHD) will start on Tuesday the administration of bivalent coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines to government employees in Region 3 (Central Luzon).

The two-day vaccination will be conducted at DOH CLCHD main office building, Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, here where workers of regional line agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations will receive the jabs that offer protection against the original virus strain and the Omicron variant and subvariants.

“The DOH CLCHD prioritizes the health and safety of our communities. Hence, we encourage participation in this vaccination opportunity. Let us come together to protect ourselves and those around us para sa mas pinalakas na proteksyon, kumpletong booster ang solusyon (for better protection, complete booster is the solution),” DOH Regional Director Corazon Flores said in a statement Monday.

Eligible individuals include government employees whether they are permanent, contract of service, casual, or job order, aged 18 years old and above, and with at least four months of interval from the latest Covid-19 vaccine dose.

Flores said the bivalent vaccines are limited in supplies and the vaccinations will be done on a “first come, first served” basis.

“Please bring a copy of your previous Covid-19 vaccination card/s for reference. Also, bring on the vaccination day, your accomplished health declaration and consent forms,” she added.

The bivalent vaccines were initially administered to healthcare workers, senior citizens and individuals with comorbidities. (PNA)
