MANILA – Over 15,000 vacancies for call center agents and customer service assistants are available to those looking for employment, the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reported on Tuesday.
Citing its latest data, the BLE said the top available jobs are in business processing outsourcing (BPO) and customer service assistants from Sept. 4 to 8.
It added that a total of 8,077 vacancies for call center agents; 7,691 positions for customer service assistants and 3,700 job vacancies for executive assistants are registered with the bureau.
The BLE noted that production workers are also in demand with 3,282 vacancies.
Also included in the top five job vacancies are production machine operators with 1,905 positions.
The BLE said the data is based on the Public Employment Service Office-Employment Information System sourced nationwide and from PhilJobNet, a government-run job matching portal. (PNA)
