MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau said Friday.

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast over Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, the Visayas and Mindanao.

Moderate to heavy rains may result in flash floods or landslides in those areas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned.

"The rest of Luzon will have fair weather," PAGASA forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said.

He, however, said isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms are also likely.

"We are expecting warm weather in Metro Manila, with temperature reaching 33°C," he said.

PAGASA also forecast temperatures of up to 35°C in Tuguegarao and 32°C in Laoag.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail across the archipelago, PAGASA said. (PNA)
