MANILA – Motorists have been advised to take alternate routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will conduct road re-blocking works on Mindanao Underpass in Quezon City starting Friday evening.

In an advisory, the DPWH– Quezon City 1st District Engineering Office said road works on the underpass will cover the northbound portion of the underpass from Oct. 20 to Oct. 23, 2023.

On the other hand, works on the southbound portions will start from Oct. 27 to Oct. 30.

“The affected northbound lanes will be closed to traffic at 10 p.m. today (Friday), and will be opened at 5 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2023,” the advisory said.

To avoid traffic congestion during the repair works, DPWH advised motorists to take Congressional Avenue, EDSA, Tandang Sora Avenue, Road 20, Mendez Road, and Tullahan Road as possible alternate routes. (PNA)
