The coronation of the Miss ROTC Philippines is scheduled on Saturday at Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City while the competition proper will kick off Sunday.

The Miss ROTC pageant will highlight the softer side of the Games and promote women empowerment, according to organizers.

It aims to encourage the development of sports programs, promote physical education, foster self-discipline and teamwork, and train young athletes for international competitions.

Next year, the Games are targeted to be held during the dry season and may add obstacle course and jiu-jitsu to the roster of events. (PNA)
