MANILA – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP23.8 million from four suspects in Cavite province on Thursday night.
In a report, the agency said the suspects Montaha Abbas, 43; Datu Bandong, 37; Norhata Abbas, 39; and Elsie Bandong, 36 were arrested in a buy-bust in Block 4 Lot 19B, Springville South Phase 2, Barangay Molino 4 in Bacoor City at about 7:20 p.m.
Confiscated from them were about 3.5 kg. of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, mobile phones, and a notebook containing records of drug transactions.
The four will be charged with violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
