MANILA – A 41-year-old lucky bettor from Sampaloc, Manila has already claimed her prize after winning the Oct. 12 Lotto 6/42 draw.

In a statement on Monday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the Manila bettor presented her winning ticket with the winning combination 13-41-06-25-34-42 with a jackpot prize of PHP34.5 million at the agency's main office in Mandaluyong City on Oct. 16.

“Pagka para sayo, para sayo talaga. Ibibigay talaga sayo ni God yon. So kung gusto mo manalo, taya ka lang (If it's for you, it's really for you. God will give you that. So if you want to win, just place a bet),” she said.

Her winning combination include the ages and birthdates of her family members.

The bettor said she would use the money for planning to buy a house after winning the jackpot prize.

To avoid forfeiture of winnings, winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize as specified in Republic Act 1169, otherwise known as the PCSO Charter.

The PCSO reminded the public that all Lotto jackpot prizes must be claimed at its main office along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

To claim the prize, the winner must write his/her name on and sign the back of the winning ticket, and present two government-issued IDs.

The public is encouraged to keep on patronizing the products of PCSO as a large chunk of its revenues goes to charity programs. (PNA)
