CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The provincial government of Pampanga on Tuesday donated 23 patrol motorcycles to the police units here as part of its commitment to augmenting peace and order and public safety in the province.

Governor Dennis Pineda personally handed the ceremonial keys to the chiefs of police in the province at the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO).

During the turnover ceremony, Pineda called on the police force to sustain its peacekeeping thrusts as he assured the full support of the provincial government to the PPPO.

“The donation is Pampanga’s contribution to the enhancement of peace and order in the province and the safety of the communities,” he said during the livestreamed event.

The 23 motorcycles were distributed to the 21 police stations and two mobile forces in Pampanga.

Col. Levi Hope Basilio, PPPO director, said the motorcycles are crucial in promoting peace and order in the province.

Basilio thanked the provincial government for the donations as he vowed to intensify provincewide police visibility to preempt criminality and provide prompt response in the communities. (PNA)
