CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Some parts of the provinces of Aurora and Nueva Ecija will experience power interruption from one hour up to 13 hours on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

In its advisory on Tuesday, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the affected areas of the power interruption are those being serviced by the Aurora Electric Cooperative Inc. (AURELCO), Nueva Ecija Electric Cooperative Inc. II (NEECO II)-Areas 1 and 2 and San Jose Electric Cooperative (SAJELCO).

The NGCP said the power outage will be due to the corrective maintenance, replacement of old steel pole/concrete pole with taller steel poles and load shifting activities along the Cabanatuan-San Luis 69kV and Cabanatuan-Fatima lines.

The service areas that will be affected by the 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. scheduled power interruption are those under AURELCO (San Luis and Maria Aurora substations) and NEECO II - Area 2 (Gabaldon substation).

On the other hand, the 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. power outages will affect the service areas of NEECO II - Area 1 (Talavera substation) and NEECO II - Area 2 (Natividad and Bongabon substations).

Meanwhile, the 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. power interruptions will affect NEECO II - Area 1 (Aliaga, Quezon, Guimba, Munoz and Lupao substations) and SAJELCO (San Jose and Sto. Tomas substations).
