"I did my best for my daddy," the seven-year-old gymnast said in an interview on Thursday.

The Grade 2 student from Assumption College in Makati dedicated her trophy to father Mike, who was confined in the hospital during her competition.

It was the second all-around title for Lagman after dominating the 6-year-old and under category last year at the MVP Sports Foundation Gymnastics Center in Intramuros, Manila.

The LTSA, which organized the tournament in cooperation with the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, aims to develop gymnasts for the national team. (PNA)
