BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) has earned an impressive 91 percent rate in a recent clients’ satisfaction survey conducted by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).

PRO-13 director, Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft, welcomed the results of the survey as it reflected the pulse of the people in the region.

“We approach these findings with receptivity and a dedication to do more in policing work and other law enforcement functions. The survey result will serve as a motivation for us to raise the bar even higher,” Kraft said in a statement Friday.

On Thursday afternoon, Dr. Adrian Tamayo, MinDA public relations division, chief announced the survey results during a meeting with top PRO-13 officials.

PRO-13 obtained an 89.2 percent satisfaction rating in terms of performance on security and safety, 88.8 percent on trust, and 87.6 percent on respect, the survey indicated.

Among the police field units in the region, the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) obtained remarkable results in terms of police assistance, respect metric, trust metric, and security metric.

The Dinagat Islands PPO, meanwhile, got the top spot in hotline awareness and safety metrics in the region.

The survey was conducted by MinDA last Dec. 15 to 27 last year involving some 1,142 respondents from the five provinces and one city in the region. (PNA)
