MANILA – The Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) will host a forum to highlight investment opportunities in Clark.
For the first time, EJAP and BCDA will partner to host the One Clark Forum at New Clark City athletics stadium on May 10.

It will be graced by public officials and executives from the private sector.

From the government side, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Fredrick Go, BCDA chair Delfin Lorenzana and president-chief operating officer (CEO) Joshua Bingcang, and Clark International Airport Corp. vice president for administration and finance Nancy Paglinawan will deliver speeches at the forum.

“Envisioned as the next big metropolis and major growth hub in the Philippines, Clark has undergone massive transformation over the decades, but it still has much potential to grow,” Bingcang said in a statement.

“This joint forum with the country's premier business journalists will allow us to communicate the BCDA Group and the national government's efforts to develop Clark, and how these will foster economic growth, drive investments, and provide job opportunities for Filipinos,” he added.

To share their investment experience in Clark, Filinvest Land Inc. senior vice president and business unit head for industrial and logistics Francis Ceballos and Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. president-CEO Noel Manankil will also grace the event.

“This landmark partnership between EJAP and the BCDA Group will showcase the evolution and developments in Clark,” EJAP president Neil Jerome Morales said in a separate statement.

“This is part of a broader initiative to promote growth centers across the country to spur investments and job creation,” he added. (PNA)
