CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Cavite police personnel have arrested a murder suspect who is listed among Calabarzon’s “most wanted.”
Cavite Provincial Police Office Director, Col. Eleutero Ricardo Jr., told reporters on Saturday that the suspect, identified only as “Buboy,” was arrested by lawmen on the strength of a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 90 in Dasmariñas City.
No details were given on the circumstances of his capture except that he was arrested in Barangay Langkaan I in Dasmariñas City on Friday evening.
The suspected killer was the latest to be caught under the Police Regional Office 4-A’s (Calabarzon) “Dahil Gusto ng Pulis Safe Ka” (because the police want you to be safe) campaign against criminals on the loose.
"The police in Cavite will continue our campaign to catch and hold accountable those who are hiding from the law so that we can give due justice to their victims," Ricardo said.
Buboy was turned over to the Dasmariñas City Police Station custodial facility for processing pending his court date.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty, Ricardo said. (PNA)
