PH Miss Universe Maxine Medina raises spirit of volunteering

Philippines’ Miss Universe bet Maxine Medina says that joining the meal packing event in Conrad Hotel was her way of “giving back” to poor communities and raise the spirit of volunteering. The meal packing event held on Wednesday (Jan 18, 2017) was organized by the Department of Health (DOH) and non-government organization Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). The nutritious supplement will be provided daily in health centers for 1,000 days to ensure the nutritional requirement of mothers and their babies as part of the “First 1,000 Days” advocacy of DOH.
