An international trade show in Metro Manila to be held next month aims to help expand delivery of water nationwide through renewable energy. Proponents of Water Philippines 2017 from March 22-24 decided to showcase the water-energy nexus, citing rise of technological advancements that increasingly enhance RE's viability as means of delivering water particularly in remote areas. "We hope to create awareness about what the possibilities are for our future," said Eliane Van Doorn (right), ASEAN Business Development Director of the trade show's organizer UBM Asia during the press conference held at Philippine Water Works Association in Quezon City on Tuesday (Feb. 7, 2017).
