Dr. Comiso conferred as new Corresponding Member of NAST Philippines

Dr. Josefino Comiso (2nd from right), senior research scientist at the Cryospheric Sciences Laboratory of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, is conferred as new Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Philippines by NAST acting president Fabian Dayrit during the Investure and Science Information Forum at Hotel Jen, Pasay City on Thursday (Feb. 23, 2016). Dr. Comiso, a polar science expert, climatologist and satellite remote sensing scientist, was recognized for his significant contribution to the scientific community.
