SMPP officers and members, MIAA employees hold peaceful rally at Mendiola

The Samahang Manggagawa sa Paliparan ng Pilipinas (SMPP) through its Executive Committee (EXECOM) members headed by their President Ceferino C. Lopez (holding megaphone), staged a peaceful action on Wednesday (March 8, 2017) held at Mendiola, Manila. The activity was attended by employees from Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), union-members of the Confederation of Independent Unions in the Public Sector (CIU), National Alliance of DOTr Employees Association (NADEA), and Kapisanan ng mga Manggagawa sa GOCCs at GFIs (KAMAGGFI). The main objective of the activity is to appeal to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to stop the implementation of the NAIA PPP Project, also known as the Privatization of Operations and Maintenance of NAIA Terminals 1 to 4.
