South terminal for provincial buses near DFA now operational

TERMINAL FOR BUSES FROM CAVITE, BATANGAS. The newly-opened Southwest Integrated Provincial Transport System (SWIPTS) terminal along Macapagal Boulevard fronting the Department of Foreign Affairs in Pasay City is now open. The SWIPTS was one of three terminals set by the Department of Transportation to restrict the entry into Metro Manila of provincial buses. It serves about 1,000 buses from Cavite and west Batangas.
