South terminal for provincial buses in Pasay City opens

SOUTHWEST BUS TERMINAL OPENS. For the convenience of weary travelers, the newly-opened Southwest Integrated Provincial Transport System (SWIPTS) terminal -- along Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City -- has its own rest rooms and waiting area. The SWIPTS is one of three terminals set by the Department of Transportation to restrict the entry into Metro Manila of provincial buses. It serves about 1,000 buses from Cavite and west Batangas.
