H.E. Dr. Abdullah N.A. Al Bussairy (center), Ambassador, Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia to the Philippines signs of Dates Donation Agreement and Symbolic Turnover of Dates

H.E. Dr. Abdullah N.A. Al Bussairy (center), Ambassador, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Philippines, signs Dates Donation Agreement and Symbolic Turnover of Dates during Ceremonial Handover of Dates to the World Food Programme on Tuesday (May 09, 2017) at Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Makati City. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KS Relief) donated 30 metric tons of pressed dates to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to be distributed to over 60,000 school children and their families in Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, and Maguindanao. Since 2010, the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has donated over 250 metric tons of dates to WFP in support of its School Meals Project.
