'Bayanihan' spirit under Brigada Eskwela 2017

The Filipino “bayanihan spirit” (communal unity, work and cooperation) was very much alive among stakeholders in Mamatid Elementary School in Cabuyao, Laguna, under the Brigada Eskwela 2017 school clean-up campaign of the Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday (May 16, 2017). Teachers, school administrators, students, parents and private sector groups were armed with brooms, brushes and repair and construction materials as they conducted their annual school maintenance activities.
