Closing of RP-US Balikatan Exercise

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Eduardo Año declares the closing of the RP-US Exercise Balikatan-33-2017 in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Friday (May 19, 2017). Officially launched last May 8, Philippine and US forces conducted community, engineering and civic assistance activities in Panay, Leyte and Samar while the joint training and exercises in Luzon and surrounding areas focused on improving response effectiveness to natural disasters and other emergencies that endanger public health and safety.
