GLOBAL MAGNITSKY ACT.  Former Immigration Commissioner Homobono Adaza (2nd from left), gives his opinion on the Global Magnitsky Act during the Roundtable Forum held at Lido, Cocina Tsina, Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City on Wednesday (Jan. 29, 2020). The Global Magnitsky Act is an expansion of the Magnitsky Act signed in 2012 by former US president Barack Obama, wherein it allows the U.S. government to sanction foreign government officials implicated in human rights abuses anywhere in the world.
