Onion bouquets for Valentine's Day

SPICED LOVE. In lieu of the traditional flower bouquets that are in demand for Valentine’s Day, a shop in Sampaloc, Manila added onions, the vegetable that retailed for as much as PHP600 per kilo last year. As of Friday (Feb. 10, 2023), the flower-onion bouquet is offered for PHP500 each but is expected to sell for much higher rise as Feb. 14 nears, although onion prices have dropped to PHP125 per kilo.
