PALANCA AWARDS. Dr. Luis Gatmaitan is keynote speaker at the 71st Carlos Palanca Memorial for Literature held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on Monday (Nov. 27, 2023). He is an award-winning children’s story book author, columnist, and radio host who was inducted into the Palanca Awards Hall of Fame in 2005 and received the Gawad Dangal ng Lahi, a special citation for those who have contributed immensely to the development of Philippine literature and have aptly become role models for Filipinos.
