MANILA -- Two weather systems will bring isolated rains in some parts of the country Friday, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon and the tail-end of a cold front over the eastern section of southern Luzon.

The regions of Bicol and Eastern Visayas, and Quezon province will experience scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front.

Metro Manila, the regions of Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos, Calabarzon, and central Luzon, and the province of Aurora, will also have scattered rains caused by the northeast monsoon. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
