MANILA -- Two weather systems will bring rains over most parts of the country on Wednesday.

In its 24-hour weather bulletin issued Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the trough of a low pressure area spotted 435 km. east of Legazpi City, Albay will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas.

The southwest monsoon, meanwhile, is affecting the western and northern part of Luzon, particularly Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative region, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands. These areas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

PAGASA also cautioned residents in these areas against possible flooding caused by moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country is expected to have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by localized thunderstorms.

Coastal waters in northern and western sections of Northern Luzon will be rough to very rough.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 26-37 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-23 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-34 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
