MANILA -- JPV Marikina FC will once again miss out on playing at its homecourt, the Marikina Sports Complex (MSC), as Global Cebu FC once again decided to beg off from playing a Philippine Football League match.

A statement made by the league on Tuesday said Global Cebu FC has notified Liga Futbol Inc (LFI) that they would not be able to play their scheduled match against JPV Marikina FC on Wednesday (July 11) due to "circumstantial reasons that the club has provided the LFI", the same reason why Cebu also begged off from facing Laguna on Sunday.

This will be the second straight time Marikina will not play its scheduled game at MSC.

Its game on Saturday against Davao Aguilas FC was moved at the last minute to the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite as the MSC field is still being groomed anew following the Pride March that took place there almost two weeks ago.

Only one PFL game will be played on Wednesday, a 3 p.m. showdown between Iloilo and Negros at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Iloilo City. (PNA)
