Central Luzon police units, personnel receive awards

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga— The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) on Monday awarded deserving police units and personnel in Central Luzon for their exemplary dedication to duty and efficient performance as law enforcers.

The awarding is part of the week-long celebration of the National Crime Prevention Week with the theme “Mamamayan, Sama-Samang Makialam upang Krimen at Korapsyon ay Hadlangan.”

Rodolfo Santos, regional director of the National Police Commission (Napolcom), led the presentation of awards in a simple ceremony held at the PRO3 Parade Ground here.

The awardees include the chiefs of 10 police stations in the region with highest crime clearance and solution efficiency.

They are Senior Inspector Larry Villanueva of Morong Municipal Police Station in Bataan; Chief Inspector Jayson Constantino, Sto. Tomas Municipal Police Station in Pampanga; Chief Inspector Ranny Casilla, San Leonardo Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija; Chief Inspector Joel Dela Cruz, Jaen Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija;

Supt. Julio Lizardo, Plaridel Municipal Police Station in Bulacan; Chief Inspector Mohammad Taufh Abduhalim, Zaragoza Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija; Senior Inspector Gregorio Bautista, Peñaranda Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija; Chief Inspector Melanio Santiago, Limay Municipal Police Station in Bataan; Chief Inspector Restituto Granil, Balagtas Municipal Police Station in Bulacan; Chief Inspector Marlo Dangakang, Hermosa Municipal Police Station in Bataan; Supt. Wilson Alicuman, Mexico Municipal Police Station in Pampanga; and Supt. Joe Neil Rojo, Talavera Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija.

Special awards were given to Supt. Arwin Tadeo of Bulacan Provincial Police Office and SPO4 Charles Cuaresma of Aurora Police Provincial Office as winners of PNP Model Families.

Also given award were Senior Emerson Adaviles, SPO3 Roman Quizon, and SPO2 Beverly Castro for the arrest of Emmanuel Barroga of Barangay  Carlos, Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija, who is listed as No. 1 most wanted person in the provincial level and No. 3 nationwide for carnapping in Meycauayan City, Bulacan last June.

Also recognized were: Chief Inspector Eric Reverente, Chief Inspector Sean Logronio and SPO3 Siegfried Framil for the arrest of Glen Junatas, No. 1 most wanted person regional level for carnapping; Senior Inspector Mark Abaja, SPO3 Inocencio Datoy and SPO1 Rocky Ramos for the arrest of Laurence Calucag, wanted person for carnapping; and Inspector Marlon Agno,  SPO3 Jeejune Cabagbag and SPO3 Bong Toledo for the recovery of nine  motor vehicles involved in “rent tangay/pasalo” scheme.

“Our week-long celebration included different activities that highlighted the importance of a solid partnership between the police and the community in the effective maintenance of peace and order and community development,” said Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, regional director of PRO3. (PNA)
