MANILA -- Alaska Aces bounced back from a 0-2 start in the PBA Governors' Cup Finals after mauling Magnolia Hotshots, 100-71, in Game 3 of the best-of-seven series at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Sunday night.

The Aces, following a slow start, dropped a combined 67 points in the second and the third quarters while limiting the Hotshots to just 14 in each of the said periods to complete the turnaround.

Following so-so performances in the first two games, Mike Harris dropped 36 points on 14-of-22 shooting, 18 rebounds, one assist, and one block even as Vic Manuel added 14 points and two rebounds for Alaska.

Carl Cruz, who has been seldom used all season, put up 10 points, one rebound, and one assist in his best showing so far in this conference for Alaska.

Romeo Travis made 18 markers, three rebounds, three dimes, two steals, and one block for Magnolia, which, despite the loss still leads the series, 2-1.

The series will shift back to the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City for Games 4 and 5 on Wednesday and Friday. (PNA)
