Alab stays unbeaten at home with rout of Eastern

MANILA — Alab Pilipinas reasserted its mastery over the Eastern Sports Club with an 88-76 win in their ASEAN Basketball League clash at the Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Sports Complex here Sunday night.

Alab broke away from the Long Lions in the third quarter, outscoring them, 26-14, in that period and never looked back.

Renaldo Balkman made 20 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal. PJ Ramos added 18 markers, 19 boards, six dimes, and one swipe for Alab, who swept their four-game homestand and moved up to 10-2, 9-0 at home overall.

Josh Urbiztondo had his best performance so far in the season, putting up 16 points, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

Marcus Elliott made 21 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block for Eastern. (PNA)
