BIÑAN — Stallion Laguna scored a late goal to beat Green Archers United, 1-0, in a preseason friendly at the Biñan Football Stadium on Sunday.
Moon Ji-Hoon broke GAU's hearts just when everyone thought the match was heading to a goalless draw.
The breakthrough came in the 88th minute when Moon, currently on trial for Laguna's second team, received the ball from incoming first team player Joshua Kim and slotted it in from the right side of the box.
Laguna fielded in a selection composed mostly of Team A players with some reinforcements from Team B.
The goal somehow dampened GAU's mood as the squad formally received the WFL Elite League championship trophy after the game. (PNA)
