MANILA -- A magnitude 3.8 earthquake jolted Kalinga province on Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The quake of tectonic origin struck 6 kilometers northeast of Pinukpuk at around 3:09 p.m.
It had a depth of 1 km.
Intensity II was felt in Tuguegarao City while Intensity I was recorded in Peñablanca, Cagayan.
Phivolcs said it is not expecting any damage or aftershocks from the earthquake. (PNA)
