Mancito takes on Bolcio in Rizal non-title bout

DAVAO CITY -- Lightweight Eduardo “The Nightmare” Mancito of Iligan City will take on Nathan Bolcio of Benguet in a non-title fight at the Baras covered court in Baras, Rizal on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Mancito (16W-10L-2D, 9KO) lost to Neil John Tabanao by a unanimous decision in Tagaytay City on October 27 last year. He also lost by a split decision to Jaber Zayani in the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental super featherweight title in Mandaue City on August 18 last year.

Mancito last won against Danilo Pena by a unanimous decision at SM City in Quezon City on May 13, 2018. Bolcio, 28, lost to Al Toyogon by a technical knockout in Round 6 of the vacant WBO ABC Silver featherweight title on Sept. 20, 2018.

Bolcio holds a record of 14W-15L-3D, 4KO. He also lost to Roldan Aldea by TKO in Round 7 of the vacant Philippine lightweight in Parañaque City on February 11 last year.

He failed to win the vacant WBC ABC super featherweight title against Defry Palulu in Round 5 in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 20, 2018.
Meanwhile, Miller Alapormina of Laguna will fight Lowell Saguisa of Leyte in six rounds. (PNA)
