MANILA -- Danny Kingad and Demetrious Johnson will face off in the final round of the One Flyweight Grand Prix after winning their respective semifinal battles at One: Dawn of Heroes at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Friday night.

Kingad and Johnson emerged victorious through contrasting decisions to book their clash, which will take place at One: Century in Tokyo.

Kingad survived an early threat from fellow Filipino Reece McLaren to win via split decision.

Johnson, on the other hand, pounced Tatsumitsu Wada of Japan in Round 3 to hack out a unanimous decision win.

Kingad's win turned out to be the lone win of Team Lakay in the fight card as Eduard Folayang lost to Eddie Alvarez in another GP semifinal, this time in the lightweight division.

Alvarez survived an early knockout threat from Folayang and delivered a rear naked choke that forced the latter to tap out midway through Round 1.

In a Muay Thai action, Rodlek Pk. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym knocked out Andrew Miller in Round 3 of their match. (PNA)
