MANILA – Two Filipino fighters looking to inch closer to a title shot will take centerstage in the first of two offerings of ONE Championship in Singapore next month.

As announced on Monday, flyweight contender Danny Kingad and women's atomweight prospect Jomary Torres will take on tough opponents at ONE: Big Bang set on Dec. 4 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Kingad, currently ranked number two in the flyweights, will face a former ONE champ in third ranked Kazakh Kairat Akhmetov in a potential title eliminator.

Meanwhile, Torres, the top ranked women's atomweight fighter, will battle Indian prospect Ritu Phogat.

The main event of ONE: Big Bang will see Ukranian pugilist Roman Kryklia stake his ONE kickboxing light heavyweight title against Turkish-Dutch challenger Murat Aygun.

The co-main event will also feature a potential title eliminator as third ranked Koyomi Matsushima of Japan battles fifth ranked Garry Tonon of the United States.

ONE: Big Bang will be open to spectators, but only 250 people can be accommodated as part of the promotion's protocol amid the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. (PNA)
