Drug suspect nabbed, P100-K shabu seized

DUMAGUETE CITY – Police arrested on Wednesday a suspected drug pusher and confiscated from him suspected shabu worth more than PHP100,000 during a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabuc-tubig here.

A report from the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) identified the suspect as Leonardo Bandoquillo Lisondra Jr., 31, married, of Barangay Mag-aso in the municipality of Dauin, Negros Oriental.

Lisondra was arrested by police intelligence and City Drug Enforcement Unit operatives after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover agent.

Seized from his possession were eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a total weight of more or less 15 grams and estimated to be worth PHP101,000.

The suspect was on the city’s watch list of suspected drug personalities.

Also recovered from him were a snub-nosed revolver without serial number, eight rounds of live ammunition, and other personal belongings.

The suspect was detained as charges for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against him. (PNA)
