MANILA – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) will launch its first state universities and colleges (SUCs) expo dubbed, “The Art of SUCcess: 2020 State Universities and Colleges (SUC) Expo” on March 9-11, 2020 at the Activity Center, Trinoma Mall, Quezon City.

With the theme, “Innovation. Passion. Connection,” the event offers an opportunity for SUCs to showcase their products which are not commercially available and easily accessible.

Sa ating mga kababayang naninirahan sa (To all our countrymen residing in) Quezon City and highly urbanized areas, I strongly encourage everyone to visit and support the flagship products of SUCs. It is an opportunity to try and experience the products from all over the country which is pooled in a convenient venue,” CHED chairman J. Prospero de Vera III said.

There are also contests prepared for everyone to join. From the variety of products, the booths will showcase bounty and riches from the lands, mountains, and waters of the different regions.

The SUC expo is an initiative of CHED to recognize the passion of SUCs to innovate products and connect with Filipinos outside the confines of the academic community.

Taste the flavors of longganisa, bangus and bagnet offered in Region 1 (Ilocos Region) or taste the various fruit wines of Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), or own a uniquely designed pinya cloth or a Filipiniana.

The SUC Expo is a venue for local product enthusiasts and for those with an adventurous palate or penchant for ingenuity. (PR)
