MANILA – The northeast monsoon and the easterlies would bring rains over most parts of the country on Monday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Bicol Region, and Caraga due to the easterlies.

The northeast monsoon would also bring scattered rains over northern and central Luzon.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will have isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds, moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas.

Over Mindanao, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
