MANILA – Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan on Sunday due to easterlies.

In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said these areas will experience possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to easterlies, it added.

Light to moderate winds headed east to southeast will blow over Luzon and Visayas, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Winds with the same intensity but headed east to northeast will blow over Mindanao also with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The minimum temperature will be 27.1 °C and the maximum temperature will be 35.7 °C. (PNA)
