MANILA – Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas and Palawan due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said Thursday.
Flash floods or landslides are likely in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience warm and humid weather until noon. Rains are likely in the afternoon or evening," PAGASA forecaster Daniel Villamil said.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail across the archipelago. (PNA)
