MANILA – Residents in some parts of Pateros, Makati City, and Taguig City will experience water interruptions from May 22 to 25 as the Manila Water Company has scheduled service improvement activities in these areas.
In its advisory on Thursday, Manila Water said parts of Barangay Sta. Ana, specifically along P. Rosales Kaliwa, Masagana, Alley22/Capt. Musni, Villa Luna, S. Santos, and Tibay in Pateros will experience water interruption from 10 p.m. on May 22 to 4 a.m. on May 23 due to declogging activity by the water firm.
In Makati City, from 10 p.m. on May 23 to 4 a.m. on May 24, the waterless areas are parts of Barangay Pembo, particularly in Sta. Maria corner C5, for line maintenance.
From 10 p.m. on May 24 to 4 a.m. on May 25, the affected areas in Taguig City are parts of Barangays Palingon and Calzada, specifically along F. Manalo, Bantayan, Ruhale, Virata, and Lontoc for declogging activity.
The water firm advised residents in the affected areas to store enough water to supply their needs during the service improvement activities.
It also reminded the affected customers that once water service is restored, to conduct flushing by letting the water flow out for a few minutes until it becomes clear. (PNA)
