MANILA – Motorists will have to brace for a big-time price hike on gasoline and diesel products starting 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil, Shell and Unioil said they will increase gasoline prices by PHP2.80 per liter and PHP1.30 per liter for diesel.
Caltex, Seaoil and Shell will also raise kerosene prices by PHP0.45 per liter.
With the new announcement of industry players, gasoline and diesel prices are now up for four straight weeks.
The price adjustments last week made gasoline prices higher by PHP1.45 per liter and diesel prices higher by PHP0.60 per liter since the start of the year.
Prices of kerosene were higher by PHP1 per liter from the last price in 2023.
