Calabarzon's 6th 'most wanted' nabbed in San Pablo City

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – A murder suspect who was also listed as Calabarzon Region’s sixth most wanted fugitive was nabbed in San Pablo City, this province on Thursday.

The suspect, identified only as “Jake,” was also found possessing shabu when police intelligence agents armed with an arrest warrant collared him in his hiding place in Barangay San Lucas 2.

Col. Gauvin Mel Unos, acting director of the Laguna Provincial Police Office (LPPO), told reporters on Friday that aside from an existing murder complaint, the suspect will also have to face new charges in connection with narcotics possession.

“Jake” was caught with 25 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of PHP172,000.

 No bail recommended, Unos said. (PNA)
