LINGAYEN, Pangasinan -- The provincial government has lauded the Pangasinense graduates of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) 2018 “Alab Tala” class on Monday during its regular flag-raising ceremony held here.
In his speech, Governor Amado Espino III expressed gratitude to the graduates for their future service to the country.
A total of 16 graduates of PMA were from Pangasinan, however, only eight were able to attend the event and courtesy call to the governor.
Present during the event were Lt. Daniel C. Fermin of San Carlos City (Phil. Air Force); Lt. Maria Francesca D. Galvez of Rosales (Phil. Army); Lt. Ian Lemuel A. Lalata of Mangaldan (Phil. Army); Mary Claire P. Mayo of Dagupan City (Phil. Army); Hero Nito V. Orial of Asingan (Phil. Army); Jonnel S. Parayno of Bugallon (Phil. Army); Roy Joshua P. Tenorio of Sta. Barbara (Phil. Navy) and Mon Jerico B. Velina of Lingayen (Phil. Air Force).
"We are also praying for your safe return home to your families as we know you will be sent to some dangerous areas and that you will be able to give service to the nation and its citizens," Espino said.
Other Pangasinense graduates of PMA class "Alab Tala" are: Mark Kenneth S. Martinez of Basista (Phil. Air Force); Nerie C. Lacasandile of Malasiqui (Phil. Air Force); Melvin F. Neri of San Carlos City (Phil. Army); Zaldy Mark F. Encina of Bayambang (Phil. Army); Remson R. Ferrer of Bayambang (Phil. Army) Deo Vhincent Ilumin of Calasiao (Phil. Army); Beverly L. Terrado of Dasol (Phil. Army); and Jayson G. Poquis of San Carlos City (Phil. Navy).
He also commended three other Pangasinense PMA graduates, who are now retired from the military service but are still actively serving in the government.
These are 2nd District Representative Leopoldo Bataoil; former governor and now 5th District Representative Amado Espino Jr. and Laoac Mayor Silverio Alarcio Jr., who is also the president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines. (PNA)
